In 2010, I started a social media company and was working with both my father's direct mail company and my uncles' homebuilding company to help them grow their online presence. It didn't take long for me to figure out that social media alone wasn't going to cut it. It wasn't producing tangible results.
Later in 2010, I joined my Dad at the family businesses and continued working on this big problem we were having: not enough sales and social media wasn't the answer. As I continued testing, trying new things, and doing more testing, I stumbled across a methodology that seemed to make logical sense. Here's the premise:
Well, that seemed to make sense to me, so I started following this process for our company and my uncles'. It didn't take long to start seeing that it was beginning to work, so we started helping other homebuilders and remodelers with their websites.
Now, 4 years later, we've perfected this process and have put an infrastructure in place to be able to help more local home builders and remodelers grow. We've been able to save our business and my uncles' businesses in coming out of the recession extremely strong.
